Our team has carefully studied and analyzed the tools and mechanisms used by other charitable organizations to raise funds for the implementation of their projects and programs. We came to the conclusion that it is possible to use the potential of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» as efficiently as possible through charity auctions to raise funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of war victims, assistance to medical institutions in purchasing modern equipment, medicines, etc. And it is clear that the Lots at these auctions will be the honors of the Project - unique jewelry. This is a completely new challenge for us, but we will definitely cope with it, because we have an important goal.
In order to achieve the best results, transparency and openness of our auctions, we have developed the Rules and Principles of the Organization and Conduct of the Charity Auction. They fully disclose the meaning of the terms, provide answers to any questions related to the organization and conduct of the auction as meaningfully as possible, regulate the legal relations between the Participants of the process, explain the mechanism of using the funds received at the auction, etc.
We plan to systematically hold auctions in different regions of our country. Funds collected at the Charity Auction will be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of war victims, assistance to medical institutions in the purchase of modern equipment, medicines in the region where the auction will take place.
The main asset of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» are hundreds of Project Nominees and our Partners from all corners of Ukraine. We will use this invaluable potential as much as possible to organize and hold regional events.
We planned our first charity auction in Odesa. And we have more than enough grounds for such a decision. Odesa is the largest region of Ukraine in terms of territory, which constantly suffers from rocket and other terror of the moscow barbarians, a powerful network of military medical institutions is concentrated on its territory, where our soldiers undergo treatment and rehabilitation. Odeshchyna outside the war is the sea gate of Ukraine, a powerful agricultural region, one of the main economic centers of the country, in addition, hundreds of kilometers of sea coastline with wonderful beaches, and also a cultural capital with the first state film studio in Ukraine, the philharmonic, theaters, cinemas, concert venues. And she also gave us dozens of Nominees of the project «We – Ukrainians» and our Partners. One of these Nominees is the Odesa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh, headed by the Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, Director Zitser Halyna Borysivna (EDRPOU code: 02224637, www.filarmonia.odessa.ua). We addressed an official letter to Halyna Borysivna, and she immediately agreed to cooperate. An AGREEMENT on partnership and cooperation has already been signed between the Charity organization «International charity fund of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» and the Communal Institution «Odesa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh». This AGREEMENT envisages voluntary, non-profit, socially significant cooperation regarding the preparation and holding of the Charity Auction. The Auction will take place in the premises of the Philharmonic at the address: str. Bunin, 15, Odesa.
A tripartite meeting was held between the head of the Charity fund «We – Ukrainians», the director of the Odesa Regional Philharmonic and the management of the leading military medical institution of the Southern region. The main result is the most urgent needs for medicines and medical products in the monetary equivalent of UAH 1 000 000 (one million UAH). For us, this task is a minimum, because the real urgent needs of military medics are calculated in hundreds of thousands of UAH daily. Therefore, any «million +» amount collected will be immediately used for assistance. After directing the raised funds to the urgent needs of military medics, we will post a Report on the use of these funds on our website and Facebook page.
Charity organization «International charity fund of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» and the Communal Institution «Odesa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh» will do everything possible to achieve the best result for our Charity Auction. But without Auction Participants, the result will be negative. Therefore, Dear Odesa residents and all those who love Ukraine, register for the charity auction and take an active part in it!!! Registration for the auction begins on the day of publication on the official website of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» (www.weareukr.com) and on the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ukrweare) of the previous date of the auction and ends in 21 calendar days before its beginning.
The tentative date of the auction is November 30, 2023.
We especially draw your attention to the fact that the collection of funds by the Charity organization «International charity fund of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» for the treatment and rehabilitation of war victims, assistance to medical institutions in the purchase of modern equipment, medicines, etc. takes place continuously and does not depend on the holding of Charitable auctions To transfer funds, it is enough to use QR–codes to top up charitable card accounts in PrivatBank or Monobank, or details for transferring funds to charitable fund accounts.
On November 30, 2023, we planned to hold a large charity auction in Odessa. All our resources were directed to the preparation of the event: every employee of the Charity organization «International charity fund of the General national project «We – Ukrainians» and the Odesa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh made every effort to make the event take place, a large–scale advertising campaign was conducted, at all concert events in the Philharmonic, presenters informed the audience about the upcoming auction, employees of the charitable foundation sent more than 300 letters to the managers of working enterprises in Odessa with information about the upcoming event and a request to participate in it.
But, unfortunately, as of today, we have not received any Application for participation in the charity auction. And it simply exhausted us morally! We are ashamed to look into the eyes of our wounded for the treatment of which, ultimately, we collect funds.
However, we do not back down and do not give up, because we understand that our goal is very important and we will definitely achieve it. We helped and will help our wounded!
We are slightly changing the format of the preparation for the Charity Auction: we continue the advertising campaign with the aim of maximally informing Odessa residents and not only about fundraising for the leading military medical institution of the Southern region, we are not tied to a specific date, we accept applications for participation in the auction all the time. Upon receipt of at least one Application for participation in the auction for each Lot, we will additionally inform you about the date of the auction. Therefore, follow our announcements.
From our personal experience, we were convinced that Charity is first of all about humanity and mercy, and then about money. We urge you to be humane, merciful and generous!
